This past weekend we headed over to Victoria for a mini vacation. We had been saving for this trip and had planned it for months as it would be our last vacation just us before baby arrives. We took 4 days and enjoyed every moment!
Victoria holds a very special place for us. This is where we got engaged and have done a lot of day trips to explore our beautiful Capital City of BC. For myself it also holds a lot of childhood memories as we had cousins that lived in Victoria that we would visit throughout the years quite frequently.
There is so much you can do in Victoria but also so many places to just relax. We both had a few places we hadn't been in years that we wanted to explore and experience all over again. That included the Parliment building, Hatley Castle, Butchard Gardens, the downtown core and browsing all the fun, tacky gift shops. :) The weather was perfect for the entire 4 days we were there and we felt so blessed God would give us the opportunity to have a little get away.
