Patio in the Summer

One of the things we finally got around too is clearing off our patio. We have had cardboard boxes, styrofoam and old pots on it since we got married due to all the wedding gifts and me moving in. We took all the boxes to recycling, wiped down the BBQ, table and chairs, swept off all the leaves, dirt and bugs :} and bought some hanging baskets and flowers to fill our empty pots. It now is so wonderful! It is like a little retreat away. We have had fun eating outside this week with the great weather we have been having. One of my favorite things to do on our patio is have what we call our 'nerd nights'. We started this when we were dating and I love them! We both take a book and sit outside all evening and read while listening to the sounds of nature. 'Sigh', what a wonderful thing that is. We look forward to a summer full of living on our patio.
